Maternity
We want to capture this time beautifully and to document your growing family and celebrate pregnancy. Ideally these sessions are done between 28-34 weeks. We want to find a balance between when your baby bump has filled in nicely and when you are still comfortable. Studio maternity sessions are offered at the DRP studio located in Lakewood, WA. On Location Maternity sessions are available in the Lakewood/Frederickson area(either the Mayflower Park in Frederickson, Ft Steilacoom Park, or a creek/wooded area also available). Outdoor sessions take place in the last 2 hours of daylight. Most expecting clients book this in their second trimester. Dawn Rocks Photography offers a maternity gown collection exclusively for our clients to use to style their session if they choose.

Newborn
I believe this is one of the most treasured and defining moments in a woman's life. The first few weeks will go by so fast and I want to capture this time so you have these portraits to make these moments stay with you forever.
Newborn Sessions are done at the Dawn Rocks Photography studio located in Lakewood, WA. This session will include a variety of poses and props. The studio is full of newborn props to choose from. DRP style tends to consist of very neutral, muted and organic colors and textures. Your due date will be your place holder. Once the baby(s) arrives, we schedule the session to take place ideally between 5-20 days old.

Milestone/Children
Milestone sessions take place at the Dawn Rocks Photography studio located in Lakewood, WA. My style tends to be simple and timeless with minimal props and accessories that are typically neutral, muted, and organic in colors and textures. We discuss your vision to incorporate that into the sessions. Milestone sessions are recommended to focus on stages, not ages. Smiling, sitting, standing/one year. Smiling unusually takes place between 3-5 months once little one can do tummy time and can smile during interactions. Sitting typically takes place once little one can sit mostly unassisted, usually around 6-8 months. A food smash can be done during this session as well if baby has been introduced to baby foods. Standing typically takes place around one year. A cake smash can be done during this session. (Studio does not provide cake or food for the smashes).
Family/Portraits
Portrait Sessions can be done outdoors in Frederickson, WA or done at the DRP studio.
